Masonry
unit is a general term for brick and tile.
Two main categories used for corrosion resistance construction:
those manufactured from clay and those manufactured from carbon
Clay masonry units are classified by their rate of absorption
as determined by ASTM C279.
Carbon masonry units are described in ASTM C1160 |
