Atlas Signs Manufacturing Agreement in China
Atlas has supplied its products around the world for many years. Recently we have decided to take our global commitment to customer satisfaction to a new level.
Atlas actively investigated the manufacture of our products in the Far East and concluded a joint venture agreement with Berlin (Huizhou) Scientific Chemical Co., Ltd. in China in the summer of 2004.
Berlin Scientific Chemical Co., built in 2002, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berlin Co., primarily a specialty paint manufacturer in Taiwan. The plant that will manufacture Atlas products is located in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. There are 4 buildings in the complex; two factories, one office building, and one housing complex for employees. A 9-foot wall and main gate enclose the entire area, totaling approximately 400,000 square feet, with 24-hour security.
This agreement will allow us to enhance our role as a global leader and provide a manufacturing point from which to service this emerging industrial market. |
