Atlas Appoints Mr. John T. Im as Managing Director for Asia and the Pacific Rim
Atlas Minerals & Chemicals, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John T. Im (shown below with President Francis X. Hanson) at Atlas's China manufacturing site) as Managing Director for the Asia and Pacific Rim areas. This is consistent with our commitment and goal to support our customers as well as enhance the market in the area.
Recently, Atlas Minerals & Chemicals, Inc. has also formed a joint venture operation to manufacture its products in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. The manufacturing facility in China will enable us to supply our products to our customers in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner.
Furthermore, with the newly appointed Managing Director on site locally, we will be able to resolve problems and provide direct support in a more expeditious manner.
In the past we have completed several successful projects in China and the surrounding area. As that country’s economy expands and the demand for industrial building materials grows we hope to further capitalize on the emerging industrial market.
